I have been to Rio twice on business. It may be the most beautiful city in the world. I enjoyed the beach and the food was terrific.
From the U.S. it was a real hassle to get a visa and make travel arrangements. I could not afford to go as a tourist.
The Portuguese language is very melodic but hard for an English speaker like me to understand.
With good leadership, Brazil should be one of the top ten economic and political powers for the 21st century.
Brazil could really use a World's Fair or Olympic Games to show off its potential. It does need to integrate more with the rest of the world.
I was also impressed with what a multi-ethnic country Brazil is. More countries should learn to live together as well.

I lived in Brasil and I still learning english...rs...sorry my bad english...here the things so more expensive...cars...houses...clothes...etc...We earn bad salary...the most of the people earn only R$ 380 Reais (u$ 194,87)...there are little persons in college...but...is a good place...the people are more talkatives...they likes talking about anything...it´s summer all year in Rio de Janeiro...beaches...beautiful girls...Is not only carnival here...we working a lot...but because of politicans...we earn few bucks...
