7r = -14 [Divide the equation by 7.]
r = -2.

12?

1/3s+7/9=4/3s [Subtract 1/3s from both sides of the equation.]
7/9 = s.

v-4(4-v)=-2(2v-1) [Expand the equation.]
v - 16 + 4v = -4v + 2 [Combine like terms.]
5v - 16 = -4v + 2 [Collect like terms.]
9v = 18 [Divide by 9.]
v = 2.

9-2m/7=19 [Collect like terms.]
-2m/7 = 10 [Multiply by (-7/2).]
m = 10(-7/2) = -35.

3(x-0.87)-2x=4.98 [Distribute, combine, collect, solve.]
x = 4.98 + 0.261 = 7.59

You need to group the terms with the variables, then isolate the variable, so:
7r = -14 ==> r = -14/7 = -2. I'm not sure what the 12 is for
1/3s + 7/9 = 4/3s ==> 7/9 = 3/3s = s = 7/9
v - 16 + 4v = -4v + 2 ==> 9v = 18, or v = 2
9 -2m/7 = 19, so -2m/7 = 10, or -2m = 70, so m = -35
3x - 3*.87 - 2x = 4.98, so x = 4.98 + 3*.87 = 7.59

7r/ 12= -14 ??
if so,
r = (-14 x 12)/7

1/3 s + 7/9 = 4/3 s
7/9 = (4/3 -1/3) s
7/9 = 3/3 s
7/9 = 1 s
so, s = 7/9

v- 16 +4v = -4v +2
5v = 2 +16
v =18/5

-2m/ 7 =19-9
m = 10 x 7 /-2
m = -70 /2
m= -35

3x - 2.61 -2x = 4.98
x = 4.98 + 2.61
x = 7.59

Question 1
7r /12 = - 14
7r = - 168
r = - 24

Question 2
Assume question is:-
(1/3).s + 7/9 = (4/3).s
3s + 7 = 12s
9s = 7
s = 7 / 9

Question 3
v - 16 + 4v = - 4v + 2
9v = 18
v = 2

Question 4
9 - 2m / 7 = 19 is question as written
63 - 2m = 133
2m = - 70
m = - 35
However you may be meaning
(9 - 2m) / 7 = 19
9 - 2m = 133
2m = - 124
m = - 64
Select appropriate answer.

Question 5
3x - 2.61 - 2x = 4.89
x = 4.89 + 2.61
x = 7. 59

Tip: Use brackets to avoid confusion.
