they dont seem confident. Confidence is key in EVERYTHING. If a guy asks me out and then starts saying stuff like "if you dont want to then you dont have to" or "this must be awkward for you, sorry." then i will say no. People cant have respect for someone who doesnt respect himself. BE CONFIDENT!

The biggest problem facing hesitant people is missed opportunities whether that is in relationships or the work place or whatever. If you are overly cautious, sometimes the moment slips away while you are still trying to decide whether to act on it or not. Missed opportunities lead to regret and regret is a sorry state of affairs. On the plus side, though, hesitant people don't get into hot water as often b/c they err on the side of caution and think things through b/4 acting. Therefore they tend to be good money managers, good parents and other attributes that require responsibility. Every good trait has a flip side and every bad trait has a flip side. The lucky ones among us achieve a balance b/t the two.

Watch Disney's "Finding Nemo." The dad fish is always hesitant and it would have been a sad story if he hadn't learned not to be so hesitant.
