She called to ask me to give her a ride somewhere. She is always asking me to take her somewhere (she never gives me gas money) or give her money (which she never pays back). Her boyfriend lives two houses away, and I live half an hour away. I told her no. I don't want to be her taxi cab, I want to take my kids in the pool and then to the movies later. I didn't tell her this, though, I just said that I couldn't do it today, but that I would be able to take her on Friday when I had a free day. She hung up on me.

I wouldn't call her that to her face...but it is getting a little ridiculous, you know? This isn't the first time this has happened. She hasn't had a job in over a year, even though she has a child to support. She free loads off of everyone, and if you don't jump for her, she will treat you like absolute garbage, calling you every nasty name she can think of.
My father has disowned her because she ran his cell phone bill up to over $600 out of spite and then told him "Oh well, YOU let me use it, so it's YOUR fault."
Worse, yet, my mother condones this behavior. She is mad at me because I won't put my kids on the back burner today to drive my sister around to go shopping. F*ck that, I say. This is the first time I have said no to her, and I am standing my ground. I don't care.

Definitely. My sister is similar. If you can't cater to them, they get p*ssed at you.

First of all u shouldnt call her tht way coz shez ur sister i can understand what ur going through but why dont you tell her bluntly or straight forwardly where she is going wrong and if she is being rude just stop talking to her.Imagine if u would have behaved like her she would have definitely stopped talking to you much before but since ur a good soul u never were rude to her but no one has right to behave like what she is behaving with you.
When u'l stop talking sometimes she will realise her mistake and she will come up to you with an apology
Believe me it works i've tried it but requires lot of patience to not to talk with someone so close to you but you have to do so to change rude behaviour

Trust me you sound like her taxi sevous. When she calls don't answer then there is no way she ask you. Make sure you talk to her boyfriend tell him to take care of your sister. Learn to say no!!! Don't take that from anyone.

i dont care how much of a freeloader she is. dont call your sister a beeitch, because that is not a nice thing to say about your sister. i can see that she depends on u alot, and maybe she dont want to depend on her boyfriend to take her places. to her maybe u r da only 1 that she trusts and rely on

wait, are we talkin about the same person? OMG, my sis is just like that! the world revolves around her and its easier to just comply than it is to fix it....we HAVE to go to lunch at least once a week...I have no clue when the last time she paid has been....I actually don't think she ever has!
