Date night is a must. You have to go out away from home by yourselves and do something. You pick one time & spouse picks the next. You can even make it a date day if the other says it's ok for a change. After all you changed things around when you were dating. Date night allows you to get ready (anticipation) for something out of the ordinary. And a date can be anything from a movi and dinner to a picnic at sunset at a beach or lake, to a camp out in the back yard or going to a water park or comedy show or Bingo. Let your imaginations run wild. Suggest this to your spouse. I know it works and you two deserve it! You learn to appreciate each other all over again.

Mix it up. Leave love notes around the house for him to find. Do little things to make his day special. Role play, that is always fun. Get a motel room, go the motel bar separately & do not sit together. Flirt with each other across the bar. Tell the bartender to send him a drink compliments of you. Walk over & introduce yourself to him. Flirt like you did while you were dating, one thing leads to another & when you go back to "your room" have some fun!

Be inpulsive, instead of laying around on a saturday morning, get up and go somewhere, road trip perhaps? Or go camping just the two of you. Relationships die when you fall into routine, so spice it up and try something new, or find a new hobby you can do together. Traveling also is very helpful

Why not have a date night once a week....you choose the date one week, he the next... get dressed up feel sexy... whatever you do its your choice that week then its his turn to plan, location, whatever you decided to do

Simple little reminders everyday that you love him as much as the first day you met. sticky notes in areas that he finds unexpectedly...

I think most people end up getting comfortable and take their relationships and the people their with for granted...it shouldnt be a hard thing for people to do at least that would be me....

Do spur of the moment activities, including sex :). Try out new restaurants, bars, parks, etc. Do activities that neirther of you have done, sky diving, hicking. The main thing is that you two are doing something different, and spending time together.

Set up dates. My wife and I have a standing date Thursday evenings to go to music concerts near our townhome. Do new things. Movies, cards, board games, theatre, different restaurants. You have to get out of the rut you are in. You can do it. Good luck.
