go to the court house it's faster and easier and a copy may cost you around 5 bucks.otherwise try www.(state).gov and look for records, real estate, foreclosure.

Depending on where the house is, the information is probably not available. Some county websites have some foreclosure information posted The county tax office should have the information for you.

check the property appraiser's website for the county the house ids located in. It was recently they may not have it on there yet. You can also check the county clerk's website. If anything was filed it would probably be a public record.
