This is exactly what I always believed what deja-vu is; your concious self is catching up to your psychic dream.
Things didn't happen before, we just seem them ahead of time sometimes.
I would say embrace what you see, and that we all, obviously, have a path in life and follow it.
Maybe it can help you in preventing an accident...

I have the same thing! De ja vu is like your intuition or psychic abilities, except it doesn't always seem important. Dreams can foretell the future, just as visions or "feelings" can. Here's an example of the power of dreamwork: In sixth grade, I had this really weird dream where this totally wacked-out (nice word I know..lol) guy asked me out. Then I woke up. A few months later, I found out that this guy had like a major crush on me. Be very aware of your dreams. When I got that dream of mine, I thought it was just a creepy nightmare, but it turned out to be a psychic vision that appeared within my dreams. Clearly my sub-conscious was trying to warn/tell me before I found out so it wouldn't come as a shock. Meditation is very helpful because it allows your mind to become clear. If you aren't thinking about anything particular, that's a great time for some psychic images to slip into your thoughts. You could get a journal, loose-leaf notebook, or Microsoft Word document and record all these "visions", images, and feelings. Always trust your intuition. If something feels like a vision, it probably is! You're lucky to have such a gift, de ja vu can be weird, but it is very useful. Good luck with your intuition. Best Wishes, *Tiger-lily Rain* ; )

Metaphysics theory claims that all our life is somewhere written in our subconcious. Sometimes informations get through and we feel as if we have heard something (like in a conversation where you know what one will say), seen something, or been somewhere or even have prophetic dreams.
I think this is a more logical explanation. After all we humans only use 1/12 of our mind's abilities.
As for the things you see in your house, that's not a problem.
After all who says that we are able to see everything that surrounds us. Our vision depends on that 1/12 of our perception of things.
Don't be scared, feel special, as if you are using maybe 2/12 of your mind. That's good, isn't it?

I have the same thing happen to me. I have dreams and then a few days later that feeling of de ja vu. Then the dream comes back to me.

I wouldn't say that it is normal because it is not something that happens to everyone but there is nothing wrong with you. I have even gotten to the point now where I can wake up fromt he dream and know that it is going to happen.

I suggest studying clairvoyance and dream working. There are a lot of good techniques that can help you keep it under control and use it.

Well, deja vu translated is French for already seen.deja is french for already, and vu is seen.deja vu happens while you are awake (not dreaming). It is thought by many experts that dreams occur in the REM ( rapid eye movement ) cycle of sleep, and are brought on by past events.I dream about my brother, who passed away several years ago,and those dreams seem to be real.In the dreams,I know he is dead, and comes to visit me to give me advice.Everyone has deja vu,and everyone dreams.I also dream of when I was in Vietnam, and was in a firefight, and the bullet would come out of the barrel of my weapon and just fall to the ground.I would not be concerned about the dreams. It is normal.

Is this a problem? I think it's actually quite cool to have a dejavu moment, personally.

I don't actually understand what you're asking. I'm not sure that there are ways to stop you from thinking of these dejavu things, but if it happens when you're dreaming then I'm not sure if there's anything you can do that stops you from dreaming. There's probably a drug that does it, but of course that might not be within the law. ;)

I have the same experience. You should work on your skills, get some dream books and look into what the symbolic meaning as well as what actually happened in your dream.

As far as seeing things in your house, you may want to start reading things by David Icke, he talks about things, you should really look into it, those things may not be what you think they are.

I had one so strong once that i said exactly what was going to happen before it happened, which is psycic. It only happened once, and I can't actively or intentionally see into the future or something.

You should contact somebody, but be careful there are alot of hoaxers, as you can tell from Yahoo! Answers.

I think that you have a gift, and maybe you can use it to help others. Probably should read up on it some more. Interesting stuff. And I don't think it's as common as everyone on here is claiming either. At least, not on a regular basis.

I have them all the time to. It's nothing to worry about. Almost everyone has da ja vu's, and personally I think they're pretty cool.
