You missed the point completely until the very end of your answer.
You said, "we already have WET, it's just not called that". First off, I want you to tell or show me ONE channel that doesn't include ALL races.

Second, If a channel were to come out and was called "WET", and ONLY honored white people's accomplishments, the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the rest of the black goons that so called stand up for civil rights, when it is really civil bigotry, would be all over it suing everybody that had to do with it, and a few who didn't.

As long as it is called CMT or the fishing channel your okay with it. But if it were called WCMT or the White Fishing Channel, you'd blow a cork.

Basically we would be called racists and there would be a massive amount of outrage. Remember... whites are the ONLY people that can be racist. And don't give me this crap that all these award shows are for whites only. I see plenty of people of different color at these shows, who win.

Personally, I don't really care about these shows as all it is is an industry that pats itself on the back and telivises it to the world so all can see just how great they are. What a joke!

The real question here isn't weather or not there can be a BET station or awards show... if the network wants to create that platform for a demand then so be it. No problem with it. Here is where the real question is... if the network created a WET network, specifically targeted to only white people and only had white shows and awarded only white people... yes, Jesse and Al would probably wet themselves at the opportunity for more air time. (and you know it)

Don't cry for equality when we are well beyond that point (affirmative action). Yes, there will always be racists bigots on BOTH sides... it's time to get over it and sieze the opportunities all of us have, enjoy and all to ofter take for granted.

By the way... yes I can name 50 ethnic actors/actresses... not too hard to do now a days. Again, the point isn't if it is OK to have a "black" or other ethnic channel. The point is, if we changed say... ABC to The White Channel Network and blatenly gave it that name there are many people and organizations that would pitch a fit and scream racism left and right. Should I pitch a fit because there aren't enough white people or asain people in the NBA or NFL? or should it go by who has the talent to be there and by what people want to see? I don't think any of you who answered understand or even look at history.

to you (white people) it might not be your fault, and you might have been sheltered from it.but to let you know white people have been discriminating on everything that has anything to do with any other race since the begining of time. (don't act like you don't know)

Now the good thing is that that is slowly changing and I hope racisim goes away completely, but I know that will never happen, because there is always so dumb a$$ who won't like someone because they don't look like them. it's the sad truth of the world.

and who said anybody was cool with CMT or Fishing channels... your WET has been in full effect since T.V was started. if you can't get in to White networks you have to do it yourself, and that's what BET and Telemundo is. if there was no BET or Telemundo. where would we watch us. if you haven't notice there isn't many ethnic people on other channels. if nothings on ABC you can just turn to CBS or NBC. sure there maybe some ethnic programs but they are token roles
