hmm wait a minute... sky = gas... earth = spinning... spinning = gravity... maybe the sky is constantly falling but rising too... then again evaporation and rainfall... the sky as in gas that made up the atmosphere... is falling...
you have pockets of hot air that rise letting eagles and base jumpers get higher... what goes up must come down...or there would be no air near sea level...
so yeah... the sky is falling... always, in some place... but it's also rising... that's life... that's air... air is sky...

the sky cant fall off.it can fly away if the gravity is vanished.these gases are held up tight due to gravity and if that .gases being lighter accumulated at the top layer which is the atmosphere
