I play runescape, and this guy was advertising his account password and i went on it then went off it and logged back in, (this was in the classic version) and then i logged in the next day and all my stuff was gone! i would like to know how to hack people like this:P

Theres only one way to send it right to the IP and thats if the person has a open drive or folder for file sharing and has no fire wall. Other than that to put a keylogger in most people do it in the form of a fake-windows update, or a fake adobe internet add-on. Just to make people think its legit.

If you've got file and printer sharing turned on in windows, and especially if you don't have a firewall then it can be done. Though in this particular case he probably just ran a script to steal your cookie. "Cookies" is where IE stores your webpage passwords.

There was probably a script he had set up that downloaded and installed the keylogger.
