Well being that I was married to the emotionless butthole and then right after separating from him had the rebound guy who was the wussiest emotional baby pansy jerkoff ever...I'd say both are no picnic...
My ex-husband was just emotionally closed so any problems we had would never change and it was extremely frustrating to want to even be around him...
The ex-bf though was sooooooooooooooo incredibly annoying. At first I thought it was great to have found someone who was able to share their feelings since I had been used to the ole' douche who never did. However, after a few days I started seeing that he was really wussy. I mean he had bi-polar but it was so incredibly annoying. Everything was centered around him, he cried like everytime I saw him about everything and anything, slept with a stuffed animal (he was 27 at the time), would get super-bitchy and argue with me over the most redundant things and then realize that he was wrong or overreacting and then of course cry like a big baby and then we'd have to talk about his feelings and his bi-polar and then my feelings...I swear I felt more like his therapist then his gf...Well needless to say I became annoyed and then just became rude to him bc I couldn't take it anymore and eventually dumped him (for this and many other reasons...) and now looking at my response for both types here...Im definitely going with the emotionally closed person as the less annoying of the two...though I am fortunate to have found a 'normal' boyfriend finally who isn't a closed off ahole and is not like dating a woman whose on the rag...

People who show no emotion drive me insane. I'm not talking about crying, excessive happiness, or too much "woe is me". I'm talking about people who are just completely blank. The ones who don't react to anything!
It's like when you're talking to a subordinate and giving them advice or what have you and they just nod and say "OK". Deep down you know they're not listening or comprehending a damn thing you're saying.
I've written emotionless people off as idiots. People so dumb that they can't even figure out how to react in everyday situations. Either that or they're trying WAY too hard to be cool.

The automatons bother me more. The blubbering I can ignore. The no emotion thing makes me think they`d be able to murder you without even skipping a beat.

Ha! You haven't been around anyone emotionless. Ask them a question, after a couple of minutes you feel like asking them if they are alive.

Honestly I can sway either way, so it would be a very hard call.
