I was in the bathroom and I found this (what appeared to be a spider) sitting on the side of a wooden shelf. I was really scared so I went and got Ortho home defense max spray and sprayed it a couple times. It Jumped! It didnt jump too far but it crawled with some speed and would jump every now and then, it sorta reminded me of a grasshopper, but I know it wasnt that. Whats throwing me off about what it is is the fact that it had antennas. It appeared to have two of em. Can someone tell me what kind of spider this may be and if it's posionus or not, because Ive also noticed quite a few bites on my back and legs and while they dont have two puncture points Im leaving the possibility open that they may begin to develop as spider bites (however Im writing them off as mosquito bites for the time being). I've just dont some research on my own but I cant seem to find any good info

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Im scared to death of spiders so this is really severe for me.

You don't say how BIG it was. Camel crickets look like bizarre critters that do jump around oddly, but they are normally pretty big (except for the babies).
Here is what they look like:

It may have been a camel cricket. I'm terrified of those things so I did some research on them. They sort of look like a cross between a spider and a cricket. They are usually found in dark, moist places such as a basement or a bathroom. I don't think they're harmful so the bites may be coming from another source. I hope this helps.

I don't think spiders usually have antennas, so I don't think it's a spider. The way you describe it makes it sound like a cockroach, but I have never seen one jump. If you see one again, check how many legs it has. It needs eight legs to be a spider.
