We have three dogs.
Two of the dogs, Shadow and Dio, don't do anything during a storm, unless there is a really loud clap of thunder. Then they will jump up, get as close to me as they can and will lay down.
Benson, on the other hand, doesn't do too well.
He gets really nervous and will run around the house with his ears and head down and his tail between his legs.
He will relax when someone allows him to jump up into their lap, but he will still jump every time their is a loud clap of thunder.

My 12 yo loves them. He'll wait by the door to be let out and just go stand in the backyard....best I can figure is that he likes the smell of the storm! My 11 mo mutt gets hyper.....but that's normal for her!! And my mastiff puppy couldn't care less unless it's really loud.
But if I'm not home I find all three of them crammed under my bed.

My dog curls up as close as he can get to me until it passes. The cat likes to sit out on the porch during storms until I drag her into the house.

One of my puppies flips out.. Cries, runs into things, throws up, goes to the bathroom, and usually has to be crated and sedated... But he acts like that in car rides as well.
My other dog doesnt care at ALL. He sleeps during most of them. My cats dont care, my rabbits dont care, and my goats dont care.
