Maher suggested in March that "people wouldn't be dying needlessly" if Vice President Dick Cheney had been killed in an insurgent attack in Afghanistan.

How many of these whiny Liberals agreed with Maher. I'll bet you all of 'em. Ann's wit is too sharp for Liberals. They just "don't get it."

Attacking John Edwards for his political views is one thing. Coulter is telling terrorists to kill him.

Imagine how happy the al Qaeda terrorists are now. "Best Selling Author Ann Coulter - a famous TV commentator and friend of Bush - is telling us to kill one of their current presidential candidates, a former Senator. Our message is working!" When she does this and when she says terrorists should have blown up the New York Times Bldg. she is helping terrorists in a very real way.

Anyone who cares at all about America should tell her to stop encouraging terrorists. Anyone who can't see the difference between debating politics and encouraging terrorists is beyond hope.

I am a conservative (note that I didn't say republican) and Anne Coulter is a TERRIBLE representative of the conservative movement. The problem here is that she makes some very good and valid points at times, but you can't see them for the HATE that clouds everything she says and does.

Personally I can't stand John Edwards, but I give major kudos to Elisabeth Edwards for making that call. I would expect nothing less from her as she has already proved how big her "stones" are with all that is going on in her life right now.

I'm not a John Edwards fan, but I do know his wife is an intelligent educated woman who is perfectly capable of making a decision to call Hardball and call Coulter out without first checking with her husband. Elizabeth Edwards is a feisty woman who speaks her own mind, not her husband's, which she proved in San Francisco by saying she supports gay marriage when she knows her husband does not. Sometimes I think she'd make a better candidate than her husband.

Very lame question. Perhaps he was elsewhere campaigning and wasn't watching the show. His wife was and was a little upset that Coulter said she wished John Edwards would be killed in a terrorist attack, so she called in immediately to confront Coulter, and challenged her to a debate, which of course crazy Ann will never do.
