sounds like you will go into labor sooner than 4 weeks. Can happen any day now so stay close to the hospital.

I had braxton hicks starting about month 6 and had them for the rest of my pregnancy and my first come a week early and my second came almost 2 weeks early. Try to keep working through them but keep a eye on them and if they become regular and about 5-7 minutes apart I would put a call in to the DR. and let them know what is going on. Congrats and Good Luck

I've been getting uncomfortable braxton hicks..even ones that made me think "this is it" and went to the hospital and it wasn't...for the past 4 weeks or (I'm 38 weeks now)..Trust me- the difference between braxton hicks and real contractions are something I have yet to distinguish..

Good luck to you!

I had braxton hicks starting around 5months. I had them every day. Sometimes pretty strong. I ended up going a day past my due date. Everyone is different, you truly can't predict it.
Good luck !

I got braxton hicks throughout my 2nd pregnancy and my labour started with them getting stronger and stronger until they actually hurt quite a bit[I never found them uncomfortable in the pregnancy]I think people get them most of the time but check with your doctor.

When I took prenatal classes, they taught that braxton hicks should not hurt. When mine felt a bit crampy, I took extra calcium and they did not hurt after that. Try to relax your stomach muscles when you have one.

You'll have those. And they will hurt all day. It doesnt mean you're going unto labor unless they become more intense, you cannot talk through them, or they dont stop when you lay down and drink water for 20 minutes.
