How can I throw my trash can away?

good question, I've wondered that myself sometimes. When I drive by some ruggedy trash cans, and I'm thinking to myself, I bet they're throwing that away, but then the garbage guy just leaves it there. But I suppose it would help if you didnt put garbage in it first, they might not think of it as being a regular garbage can. or you could put a sign on it that says. I AM GARBAGE TAKE ME. lol

Try leaving a note on top of the trash can requesting they throw the trash can.

Put it in a giant bag and write THROW ME AWAY! on the bag. Or you can take it to the city dump yourself. Or burn it, which may not be legal where you live... But burning is always fun.

put it in your new trash can silly. or do like we did. just pour lighter fluid on it, set it on fire in the middle of the street, and once its melted then throw it away. just do it fast and dont get arrested.

Put it in a large garden bag with all your trash, or cut the bottom out of it. Then put it out. Or you can write on the can itself, "TRASH MAN, PLEASE TAKE THIS CAN WITH YOU!"
