She has been making fun of him so much and he was so upset and desperate he had his wife go on national news and ask Coulter to stop making fun of her husband. I don't really like Coulter, but it is embarrassing that a potential US President had his wife ask Coulter to stop making fun of her husband. What a tough guy Edwards is.

Today, it is way too easy to pick out the men who think women can't think for themselves by questions like this about Edwards, his wife, and Ann Coulter. I'm embarrassed for all of you.

maybe he has more important things to do than lower himself to Coulters level, which is pretty low. Elizabeth Edwards was clearly the moral winner in yesterdays confrontation. Coulter trying to defend herself was uttelry pathetic. Edwards said stop the personal attacks, Coulter said no. what a shame.

You assume his wife was doing so at his behest, an insult to all women. I don't much like Edwards but Coulter is the queen of mean regardless of her politics. A public request for civility in the political arena may be a pipedream but it is her right to deliver the request.

John Edwards made his multiple millions as a trial lawyer by suing obstetricians for failing to perform c-sections. Mr. "poor baby victim" Edwards took the lion's share of the jury award for himself every time, while the cerebral palsy victim lived on leftovers. Research now reveals that c-sections DO NOT decrease the incidence of cerebral palsy at all, and these careers were ruined for no scientifically valid reason. Do you think Edwards will give back the millions he earned by accusing obstetricians of malpractice now that it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that their standard practice was not in the wrong??????
Of course not.
Edwards is a vile, despicable excuse for a human being, and so is his wife. It is a shame that she has cancer, but that doesn't mean she isn't a peice of work.
Did you hear what they did to the man whose property is next door to their latest purchase???? They despise him because he is not up to their "standard" and is just a farm type of guy.
I hate everything about Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, they are a disgrace to the human race.

Yeah, my guess is Elizabeth did this against political advice because she was so upset. The best policy with any bully is to ignore them, and I'm sure that was John Edwards intention.

His words of disgust(rightfully deserved) directed at Mr.Coulter could come back to haunt him(as a candidate),where as,the subject matter,addressed by his wife will get tons of media play,and air time can't hurt him(sympathy)....Smart guy !!Must be a lawyer ,or something !!
