I hate the red sox too more than anything, but that's probably who he has to retire under. Maybe the yankees, but definately not the Astros.

I believe Clemons would want the Red Sox cap provided he hasn't come to some other arrangement with the Yankees when he signed this year.

I would say he should go in as a Red Sox --- but I imagine he will put that up for sale as well, and go in as a member of whatever team forks over the most $$$$.

I think he should go in wearing a Boston hat because the bulk of his wins came with the team but I would bet he goes in as a Yankee because that is where he got his ring and the Boss has given him a lot of opportunities.

You recall a few years ago when Nolan Ryan choose to go into the HOF as a Ranger? (?!?)
Ever since then, the decision has been taken out of the players hands' and is now made by the Hall.

He should go in wearing a BoSox cap--he spent most of his career and had dazzling personal success there. I think, though, although he theoretically doesn't have any say, he would still push to go in as a Yankee and will probably go in as a Yankee. He also had his best "team" success as a Yankee.
