Clinton did many, many things wrong. He had the crooked Attorney General Janet Reno order the blowing up of the Waco Compound because one criminal was inside, the massacre of a whole family at Ruby Ridge by an FBI agent, he failed to get bin Laden over 5 times, he lied to the nation about his affair with Monica, he "smoked but did not inhale," took away gun rights from average Americans, failed to retaliate for the '93 World Trade Center Attacks when he should have invaded the Middle East, and did the same with the USS Cole Bombing. The only good thing was there was a surplus in the budget when he left, but that was not his doing, but the doing of Alan Greenspan and other people who helped run the Federal Reserve.

If there is something he did right, please let me know! He was the biggest coward president we ever had! I know for a fact that he could have taken out bin Laden in '99, but refused to do that. How do I know this is because I was in the military then and have some high ranking friends that said they had a chance to take him out, but Clinton refused to do so.

I guess it is the retaliation after 2 US Embassies were bombed in Africa. But even that had some wrong aspects, because even then, some innocent people suffered, and I guess that after that, Clinton "has to" appease Islamic fanatics somehow, of course on the expense of Serbs, and the rest of the story is known...

1. He cut the size of government by 350,000.
2.Clinton signed the Family and Medical Leave Act.
3. Clinton-Gore established AmeriCorps to allow college graduates to work off their student loans by providing needed public service
4. Clinton signed the "Defense of Marriage Act"
5.The largest period of economic growth in United States History under policies of Bill Clinton.
6. The single largest accomplishment, with no qualifying factors or caveats, must be Clinton’s Welfare reform which simultaneously decreased Government spending while providing a new influx of cheap entry level workers to help fuel the new economic expansion.
7. Under Clinton-Gore the decreases in Federal spending vs GDP was 3%. Meager, but still more than any recent Republican administration was able to accomplish.
8. Clinton left office with what may be the most substantive environmental legacy of any president since Theodore Roosevelt. His administration banned road-building and most commercial logging on almost 60 million acres of public forests, a patchwork of pristine woodlands that together would almost equal the size of Oregon.
9. It adopted new clean air standards for soot and smog, as well as diesel engine emissions, that are considered the toughest in a generation. It set tighter standards for tailpipe emissions for cars, trucks and sports utility vehicles.
10. The Clinton team also completed more than 250 "habitat conservation plans," under which the federal government permits some development and disruption on more than 20 million acres of private land, in exchange for protecting 170 threatened plants and animals living there. These conservation plans are a new way of enforcing the Endangered Species Act on private lands.
Of all the things Clinton did wrong there are many things he did right that will leave an impact on this country.
What will Bush leave when he is out of office? Probably troops in Iraq and ALOT of debt.

He allowed the government to be shut down rather than give in to Republican congress demands for irresponsible spending by vetoing every spending bill that did not have a balanced budget.
This is how he got the budget balanced and ended up with a surplus.
He passed welfare reform ending generational welfare recipients.

Where is your proof. You just can't come on here and make all these charges and think that we all are going to buy your accusations. Oh, what about all the lies we have been told over the past 7 years?? Are they excusable??
