We are brainwashed and programed from the cradle to the grave. Just keep smiling it drives everyone mad wondering just what you are smiling at.

You have far more freedom than you realise.
I love the example of car parking spaces. All they are is white paint on concrete, but people give them so much respect and follow them without question. Of course they do help then the car park is full, but most people still obey them in an empty car park.
Life is like that. The law exist to protect us from the violent chaos of anarchy. But the law is an ever changing thing. I work in the justice system and believe me I wouldn't have a job if people were not capable of completely ignoring how they are told to live.
But freedom works both ways. It can be used for both good and evil. You have to have the courage both to follow society when it is best to do so and strength to break free of all you have been taught when the occasion demands it.
To me freedom is very much a moral question. For once you know what is right and you accept the consequences of your actions you have all the freedom you need.

One of the greatest battles in society today...is to fight the battle into not being like the rest of society - strive for individual purpose and lead your life the way you want it.
You have a choice - you can now decide and go ahead and lead your life.
Good interesting question - have a nice life - peace out

Difficult.
I feel like I'm made to feel I'm free when in reality I'm only free to make the choices dictated by society. I mean you always have a choice, but your penalised heavily for the ones that "they" (that's as good of way as I can think of putting it) don't approve off and doesn't help to continue the overall cycle of society as we know it.
You have a choice, of course, but the consequences of your choice are out of your hands.

Yes.
And somedays like just about everyone else i feel the
choices diminishing.
But there are good people around-both religious and not-
and we have a duty to them and to all;to try not to be too
down and negative about this.
It can be a good, beautiful and better place(this tiny part
of our world);its our duty to keep trying to make it so.

No, I do not feel the same.
You need to go about a month with no newspapers, no TV and no "news" from other sources.
You have lost connection with yourself and life.
You are the only one living your life and the events that happen in it are the ones that you create.
After you have gone some time without the things I mentioned above, you will begin to "see" life again.

Freedom is a state of mind. Freedom when you can do what you like when you like is found better in the word chaos.

not many people can fully understand how to answer that question accurately,
but my opinion is yes,
we can go to the store if we choose to, we can go on the net', we can eat wherever we want, but there is indeed a price to that freedom, there are guidelines to follow, rules to be set. just to make sure no one f**ks it up.
what you're talking about is anarchy, and it doesnt work.
hope you find yourself in some other field of study

Yes, we do ... we need to stay with what is happening, but we also can take flight and go off in the directions that are suitable for us ... and that is where our greatest creativity lies ....
but to be fair, some of the things we are told to do are very good ... we should not rebel just for the sake of
rebelling ....
peace & love,

We always have a choice. It may seems like we're being forced what society and the government wants us to do, but we always have the choice to become the casualty of society.

the want is crucial to lifestyles (nicely, lifestyles as all of us realize it). Will may well be perverted in countless techniques yet as lengthy as one desires to stay one often does. whilst the want turns to turning out to be unwilling, the physique does what it continuously does, obeys our will and quits. sometimes destiny (aka "God") has different plans. yet often a will to stay, works. whilst one lacks the want (and this would not would desire to be huge awake, it lies deep interior the unconscious), what strikes the midsection? we want a reason to stay. We people want some thing to have self belief in. very almost something will do, often that's the fashion of lifestyles we are born into. sometimes a spouse will stay alive until her husband is going. Johnny money had to circulate whilst Rose left. in contrast to quite a few different creature (some could be clever, even self-conscious, perchance dolphins) people have a twin nature. Animal our bodies and a spirit on own loan from The tension we call God. subsequently inner conflict, we serve 2 masters, physique and soul, and that they've distinctive agendas. our bodies are doomed to dying so greater often than not prefer to breed. The Spirit lives previous this field of time, yet one has to paintings for years to rouse sufficient to grasp the physique, to not point out dwelling devoid of one. To paraphrase angela w above, physique of suggestions impacts equipment.
