In fact no player can be substitute for another player in real sense. Chawla has so far shown good promise and let us hope that he will continue with the same performance and will turn out to be a match winner for India as has been done by Kumble on many occasions.

I dont think so, the only person piyush chawla can currently substitute in the indian team is the guy whos job it is to clean the ball marks from the bats.

no i dont think so becase kumble was a good leg break bowler and better bowler than chawla till now. but who knows chawla can also take more and better wickets than kumble.

yes because though he is not camparable to anil but at this period there is no other youngster to fill his gap and he is taking good wickets in every matches
