Here are some questions for Christians out there... Please answer open and honestly. I'm not looking for links to other websites... I want to hear personal beliefs and opinions. Thanks for the help!
1. Is Scientology a valid religion?
2. Can't God be the only one to save man?
3. Why are people drawn to this new religious movement?
4. Is the Church of Scientology actually a cult?

I did an extensive report on this when I was in college and I do not believe Scientology is a good thing. I wouldnt say its a valid RELIGION but it is a group of people who believe its a religion. People are probably drawn to this because Scientology has made a point to let people know that celebrities such as John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and Nicolas Cage are a part of this group. I think that Scientology is a cult being that they "educate" people in their beliefs and it is very very hard to leave the group once you're in (Katie Holmes?). Scientology was actually formed by a science fiction writer and is based on the belief that all humans are infected by extraterrestrial beings and the only way we can be cleansed of these beings is by joining the group and educating ourselves. Following their leaders and learning how to be pure. Sounds crazy if you ask me. I dont know if people who join Scientology know these facts or not before they join, but its true.

3. Why are people drawn to this new religious movement? Because it fits into their I'm my own god lifestyle.
4. Is the Church of Scientology actually a cult? It definitely meets the criteria to be considered one.
5. Any other personal opinions or beliefs you would like to add? Anyone who worships by a religion created by a human man dead in his grave and believes an alien named xenu is going to come rescue their soul from a human body "pod" is in need of serious spiritual awakening!!

5. Scientology was founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, who said one of the best ways to make a lot of money is to create your own religion.

1. In my opinion, not valid. But, I guess it is because it is so poplular.
2. God is the only true Lord & Saviour.
3. Because people like to find religions that meet their needs & that make them feel better about things they do or do not do.
4. In my opinion, a cult.
5. The only way to be saved is to believe that God gave his only son, Jesus. That Jesus died on the cross & resurrected 3 days later. If you ask him to forgive you & mean it, you are forgiven.

1. Of course it's a valid religion. If that's what someone believes, that's all it takes.
2. I wouldn't know, I haven't talked to God directly. I think it's up to us to save ourselves. I mean, God's obviously there and helping, but we got to make our own choices.

4. I've yet to figure out the difference between religion and cult.

No,It is a false religion ! Yes he is the only savior ! The devil knows his time is short so he is desperate ! Yes no doubt about it ! For those who have not accepted Jesus Christ into their heart as their lord and savior do so quickly or in the blink of an eye the opportunity will be gone forever and you will be eternally in darkness !

scientology is not a religion. people are not drawn to it. only multi-billionaires how have more money than brains "practice" it. if you are a christian you should simply pray for these fools and not worry and more about it.
