How can one indulge in something that offends the modesty of a woman and makes her feel sore. The wound that is inflicted by this act cannot be removed. It is a heinous act which goes against all that is associated with the delicate realm of sex between the two persons that evokes finest feelings of tenderness.

Everything happens for a reason, if a girl is being raped by a man, the decision has long been made and is not going to be stopped by a conscious, respect, or the law.

We see people everyday who have gone through adversity, or going through the system after an act they inflicted on another person. The answer is, what makes them different after the act? Are you as a female going to allow your life to be controlled by a brutal act? Or will a man realize that his actions have consequences and in return be there to protect a woman that finds herself in the same predicament with another man? The problem is that in a way it is control issue, a woman controls her body and a man controls his actions. If they are in a sexual situation and he feels that there is nothing keeping them form making love and then she says no, that could ignite an anger him. Then he decides to assert his control. At that point she no longer has control.

Every person puts themselves in situations that are dangerous, it is only matter of time when what you do will have a consequence to your well being.

As a man I have not raped a woman. As a man I can understand the anger people feel when life is not want you wanted out of it and everything has gone to hell. I can see where a person can say "nobody cares about me, why should I care about anybody else"?

If a rape victim determines that her life is not based on one action, she does not have to live in fear the rest of her life. If a rapist determines that his life is not based on one bad decision, then he can still lead a life that is within the law and have a much higher respect for human life.

Now what keeps me from committing rape? Understanding that life has a way of making you pay for bad decisions and karma keeps them with you long after this life is over. I am not willing to pay the price.

The idea of karma and what goes around comes around. I rape this girl, then i get convicted and off to jail, then i get raped by spike in the shower after dropping the soap on a rope... not a good thing.

my mom, my sister, my cousins, my relatives... that is just the short list.
THE LAW...
The principle of respect...
The thinking, "If I was a woman..."
The idea of forcing yourself on someone. That is so uncool. Wouldn't it be nice if they forced themselves at you? ;-)
The conscience that everyone has, but some are not in tune with.
The thinking that if someone found out... I would be dead... or worse, no woman will take me seriously... Then no more dates for me.
Wondering how it would have been if we just had pure sex but with consent... wouldn't that be nice? Then that is what I would do... ask her out. ;-)
Thinking that I might just have this thing all over my head when I don't want it to be like a ghost haunting me.
Being myself, I do not want to have all those possibilities inside me when I can just use a little self-control. ;-)

I have too much respect for women to hurt them. Rape is a crime of control and power over someone weaker than you and it ruins many women's lives. Rapists should get the ultimate sentence of punishment. I am a man who believes in protecting women and taking care of them, not hurting them.

The later consequences, and the fact that it degrades the victim, and it is sinful.
