As long as I stay home, cook, not watch TV, do landry and pcik him up from work, he is fine. His mom found me a job as an exceutive assistant. He had no idea I worked for about 4 months I leaves the house at 7 am and thats when I wake up and get ready to go to work. I make sure I am home by six.He found out last weekend when I receieved my insurance package to the house. He hates for me to have money, so after him yelling and screaming at me he decided okay, 'work as long as I get all the money.' Now I need a $100 for roll on, a shirt, a book and don't know how ask him. I make $18 an hour. How do I ask him for a $100 from my paycheck?

Have a deduction from your paycheck deposited directly into a savings account, that ONLY you have access to. Talk to your personnel director, or human resources...they will help you! Good Luck!!

ok honey sounds like you need to get a divorce from him since it sounds like you can take care of yourself. You are in America now and a husband should not treat his wife like that. You dont have to turn your paycheck over to him.. You guys could share an account for all the house hold bills and then have seperate accounts so you can each have your own money if you choose to stay with him. Please think about your future you are so young yet.

How do I ask him for $100 from my paycheck? You don't! It is your paycheck. Why are you still with him? You are a legal citizen of the United states. You have an income of your own. I think you should be planning a way out of this relationship. this is coming from someone who believes marriage is forever,
. Good luck and God Bless

You are his slave, or at least he thinks so. Sounds to me like he thinks you are his property. You are a very different person than that stupid little girl from 6 years ago. You have already done the right thing getting a job. Now, leave him. Move out immediately. He needs a serious wake up call. This is disgusting when men think they can own a helpless young girl. He is scum. Please get out now.

Sounds like he still lives in the stone age! The world has changed and we don't have to live with men that treat us this way. You could easily make it on your own with what you make! You should not be his slave, don't lower yourself to make him happy. In a marriage both people are suppose to be treated equally with love and respect and if he cannot do that you should leave him.

Uhhhgggg...I hate these kinds of stories. Every part of my being says run!!! get away from him!!! But being from America I can't imagine what your life was like before or how you may perceive that having a controlling spouse is ok. I just want to say it really isn't acceptable here.
