The cosmological 'ether' that was thought to exist in space as the medium with which light travels through has been proven false. Ether does not exist. The Michelson-Morley experiments which tested the difference in the speed of light in different directions through the hypothesized ether showed that there is no difference in the speed of light in any direction. Hence the existence of the ether was proven false.

Thank you, Mikey C. I attend Case Western Reserve University, the place that experiment was performed. I've studied the work of those two men, done my own related experiments, and pass a huge display for their work every day. It's nice to see that there are other people out there who are not idiots.

this exists in outer space where there is no air,light or any other particles.

we call these areas vacant ad yet it contains ether.

this is not the hydrocarbon that im talking about.refer relativity for more details.

Air....it takes space but it is easily displaced to accommodate other things.
