I had a much better understanding of Greek mythology after I watched Hercules, I learned that when a new baby comes you will be left out in the cold, at least for a little while, from Lady and the Tramp. I learned not to trust most stepmothers from pretty much a handful of different Disney movies, and about the legend Ali Baba and his forty thieves from Aladdin. And that when I fall in love, I want to put on a ballgown and dance around in a big ballroom eith just the 2 of us, seeing how EVERY Disney princess (Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Snow White) got to do that at the end.

I learned that there's a good chance that we can get along and have movies that parents can watch with their children and not worry about making them go to their rooms or hide their eyes because they will see bad stuff or hear bad words but there's movies out there we can sit down with families and enjoy an evening together. I just love disney movies. They always make me smile and feel good.

That Disney artists are pretty much all men. Walt hardly ever let a woman work on his creative team.

For some reason, movies with an orphan (or just missing one parent) as the main charecter are more successful than movies that have someone with two parents as a main charecter.

Never take an apple from an old crone that looks like a witch. *smacks head* Until I saw Snow White I just couldn't knock the habit. Now....... now I've learned. :)

That I really hate when characters break into sentimental songs for no apparent reason. Can you imagine someone doing that in real life?
