I'm annoyed at Democrats wasting our money, especially Senator Ted Stevens (D) from Alaska, building a bridge to nowhere for $400 million. How do these guys keep getting re-elected?

Yes, I 'm tired of them wasting our money. Ted Stevens is a Repulbican. The problem is not just Democrats unfortunately. Republicans once stood for greater fiscal responsibility but they have been drifting away from this value. Perhaps we need term limits to help keep the politicians in line. It seems that power is corrupting and the longer the politicians are in office, the worse it becomes.

Ted Stevens is a republican. The bill was voted on by a republican majority congress. The bill was signed by a republican president.

People are stupid. They've been brainwashed for a generation now that voting Democrat is the only choice and it's cool. Well not so much that it's cool but to vote Republican is taboo and they gasp when they hear you vote that way and are sooo disapointed in you.
The Dems have done quite well with their Machievellian plans.
