I just heard the nice little set up from some show and Elizabeth Edwards. I cannot believe it! What were to happen if he were president and we were attacked...would she call up that country's leader and ask him/her to stop?

If he's depending on her now, what's he going to do in the White House? I don't see Laura whining about what the dems and their toadies in the press say about her husband.

It is embarrassing because it shows how much Ann Coulter has been beating up John Edwards.

ANN COULTER WAS PUT IN HER PLACE
TYOU CAN BET that if Ann C or YOu were to feel that you've been wrong you'd be running for a lawyer in a heartbeat
Most people on here are clearly the types who deride Edwards simply for being an "ambulance chasing trial lawyer" but of course that's because they're simply parroting back the drivel they've been spoonfed all their lives. Here's a summary of Edwards' most famous case:
John prosecuted a claim on behalf of a 3 yo girl whose intestines were literally sucked out of her body when she sat down over a powerful suction pump in a kiddie pool which was inadequately covered by a flimsy plastic piece, leaving her dependent on medical assistance which would cost her and her family millions of dollars during her lifetime.
Testimony from pool design expert witnesses showed that a sturdy suction cover could have been provided at a cost of only an additional 25 CENTS, yet the defendants chose to utilize the flimsy plastic piece TO SAVE A MEASLY 25 CENTS PER PUMP.
That's how much businesses care about you. Your safety wouldn't be worth 25 CENTS to them if it weren't for people like Edwards.

Obviously you have your head up your a$$. She was asking Ann to stop her unfounded and ignorant personal attacks. Elizabeth was just asking ( like many people wish they could) to bring issues into the forefront instead of inane asinine rants.
All extreme rants show how the issues are far from the minds of the extremist. And really, if your son had died would you like some telling the public that you go around with a bumper sticker saying "Ask me about my dead son" So mature...
But in reality Ann is just a comedian with a little "twist" in her humor. She is JUST an entertainer nothing more.

It is sad. It just shows how weak Edwards is. A. Coulter is totally in the right here.

It would have made John Edwards look weak if he asked her to stop picking on him. I guess he thought asking his sick wife to do it, would not make him look so bad.

Edward's wife is asking for civil discourse. Coulter refuses. It's sad social mores are in tatters and her continual rudeness is mistaken for forthright debate.
Also
Coulter is a plagiarist. For this reason alone, she is clearly contemptible.
A little, wretched, despicable creature, a worm, a mere nothing...that has risen up in contempt against the majesty of Heaven and earth
(That's what Jonathan Edwards said. A few centuries early, but it's a good response.)

I did not see this that's great the Breck girl has his wife running battles for him. And she actually said quit picking on him, that's like your mom going to the guys who beat you up on the playground and asking their mom to stop them you know you are going to get the crap beat out of you the next day.
