It looks vast. I forget everything around me. It reinstills in me the knowledge of just how unimportant we as human beings are. It makes me feel free and careless. All my dreamings get destryoed however when thoughts of what or who is on the other side of the ocean staring into the same ocean as me. Good question by the way =]
I used to go down to the beach to clear my head when I'd had an argument or something. It's mentaly refreshing and soothing.

Peace, being far away from the world...like when I was in Puerto Rico with my Sister and we had a hotel room that faced the water we could sit out on the terrace and I would look across that beautiful ocean it was so calming and peaceful for me even when my younger sister was mean we had a fight and I went out on the patio and cried and the ocean carried my feelings of anger and emotions of hurt........I also felt home sick that I was far away from my friends and family that I loved dearly and my little doggie toooooooooooooooooooo. I think when you see the ocean you are really one with it and your thoughts things really seem to hit you in a big way and therefore you can think clearly because the ocean sets that view for you..............

I grew up near the ocean and have a lot of memories of fun summers and I can picture it vividly. I can hear the ocean waves, feel the sand beneath my feet, and smell the salt water. It's just my favorite place to be.

When I see the ocean I think about just how much we don't know about the world and ourselves.

I'm gonna barf.
Actually, I guess the image of it gives me peace in an eerie way. I always did prefer lakes...and then I think about people as well, and wonder how they'd react if they're seeing the same thing I was.

... that the illusion of infinity is only about 30 miles on a clear day. In other words, our perceptions of an infinite existence are limitations of our perspective. And then I squash the sun with my thumb.

I'm afraid of deep water such as the ocean...i mean god knows what lies beneath it, or in it for that matter..So when I think of the ocean, I think of hidden secrets.
