I have written down info that I have IE 7, but I don't know where I got that information. Where is that detail given? I don't find it in systems information.

If you do have IE7, open it, and on the bar beneath the address bar, there should be a button that looks like a ? with a circle behind it. Click that, and select "About Internet Explorer" from the list that pops up.

With IE6, you'd be able to click "About" from the "Help" menu. This will also work in IE7 if you had the menu bar enabled, by right clicking an empty spot near the top of the window and checking "Menu bar'.

It is easy to tell. 7 looks like firefox with the search engine text box in the address bar toolbar. 6 doesn't. Also the "e" in the icon is a darker blue in 7 than in 6.

u can go to help on top and scroll down to about internet explorer. the first line of text (not in the scrolling box) says version 6 or 7. and if u didnt change anything, then version 7 has tabs. and if u have tabs then its 7 unless u changed it.
