The policy of treating immigrants and the ethnic minorities with preference over the indiginous peoples. Treat everyone alike. Some people will fare better in life than others, that's life, but give everyone the same opportunity without favour or being patronising.

i would like Gordon to buy a map of the world.
if he looks carefully he will see that we are a small island.
stop trying to be a military super-power.reduce the military to a superbly equipped defence force. cancel Trident. we don't need it and don't want it.
get a grip on immigration.find out who is coming and going and why.
start looking after the people who live here , whatever their origins. we don't pay our taxes to see them squandered on projects to make the politicians look like statesmen , including wars.
finally , but very important , distance us from the totally one-sided special relationship with America.
we are part of Europe , his map will show him that.
just wake up every morning and ask , what is best for MY people.

There will not be any major change.Immigration rules may be made strict( but no total ban).May with draw a part of the British troup in Iraq.As UK cannot displease USA,it may not insist for total pull out from Iraq.Since UK economy is not competitive,it has to continue as a part of US economic policies.Brown will be a soft version of Blair, with less intense cooperation with US.
