How can you speed up your wireless connection?

My laptop has wi-fi and i use it to connect to the web but before it said it had a excellent connection and now there is only four bars and the speed is 54 mbps and it says very good connection. How can i change that.

Well, good is good so why worry about it. Your internet is no where near 54mbps. I usually dont worry about signal levels until they show under 8mbps which is "poor" signal.
