There is only about half of a thread showing. It is in the bottom right where the side and bottom meet.

I have tried needlenose - didn't work. Tried the drill but it wasn't a straight break so the drill didn't work.

You have to first file the screw flat.Then you need a speed bit about the same size as the screw.You can then drill it out and re-thread the hole for a new screw.A good titanium bit will work best!

If you can, grab it with a pair of needlenose pliers and try to twist it out.

If there is not enough to grab, you can either leave it in there, or take a drill with a bit the same size as the hole, and drill it out. Of course, this will destroy the threards in the door, but it will allow you to either replace the screw with a bolt / nut, or possibly with a rivet.

Check hardware and Home Centers for screw extarctors. They have many different types now.
