All I have to do is see that glass bottle with its delectable orangy goodness and I'm transported back to a time when Baseball Cards and Comic Books were what I thought life was all about.

Root beer floats. I used to mow lawns when I was a kid, and one of my customers was an old Air Force Colonel who lived in a house with his Southern Belle wife. He was 6'3" and she was 4'5". The lawn was 1/3 of an acre at a very steep pitch (around 30%) and the mower was one of the old manuals. About halfway completed, the Colonel would come out and invite me in for a root beer float. That was about the most perfect gesture and the most perfect beverage I could ever have at that moment.
