If he's not part of the Legislative (which his office isnt) and he says he's not part of the Executive, and we KNOW his office has nothing to do with Judicial, well then, I guess the Office of the Vice President of the United States must not exist at all!
Stop paying someone who isnt there, remove all furniture from an imaginary office, haveCheney's security cards cancelled, remove his Secret Service detail and immediately sue for monetary damages from fraud, receiving money (his salary) through deceit or trickery. Seize his belongings under Federal RICO statutes and shut off his Government pacemaker.

It's not a serious proposal, but it was a clever one. I believe Rahm Emmanuel's point was to turn Chaney's evasive ploys into an issue that caught people's attention. We're all more impressed by the fact that Cheney can claim he's a member of the legislature than we are by his assertion that he doesn't have to follow an order from the executive or that he's been trying to get rid of the department that archives classified information.

Yes, maybe he will decide he actually belongs to the Executive Branch for the 15th time he has switched from belonging to the Branch and then determining he is not actually part of the Executive Branch.

Cheney is part of the executive branch. That's because he is the Vice-President. Simple right?

I strongly believe you should go back to school. Study U.S. Government. Igore the political diatribes and ramblings of teachers who have strayed off the subjects they are being paid to teach. Perhaps, a class or two on English Comp. and Rhetoric would be useful as well.

How 'bout we cut all his funding out and let him get his millions from his buddies, Halliburton, Brown and the other big corporations he is protecting.
p.s. He doesn't need any MORE money than he already has.

Sure!
If it can’t be determined what branch of government Dick Cheney is in, he must not be part of our government; therefore funding his office is illegal.

A full investigation of his actions is needed. Until then, all funds should be curtailed. He is a menace.
