I wear quite a bit of eye make-up (all from MAC) and am looking for the best eye makeup remover. I tried the MAC pro remover but it stung my eyes. I have used both the Mary Kay and Clinique, which I like both of, but I just have to use sooo much to get all the mascara and eyeliner off. Anyone know of anything that really dissolves the makeup on contact? Quickly? Thanks!

The best in the ENTIRE world is

Baby Oil - it's cheap, it dissolves all makeup and makes your eyes moist!!!

Try it!!!

I'm surprised MAC didn't work.... Everyone I know uses Baby Oil....

UPDATE:
Why in the HECK the thumbs down? It works - don't knock it before you try it. Unless you put make-up on like Tammy Faye Baker and need a fire hose to remove your make up... It works...
PS - my mom and grandma are not blind plus my grandma is a Nurse in the ER room - I think she would know...

First, i could propose no longer utilising water resistant mascara or in case you do attempt one that is botanically based or mineral based - which comprise bare Escentuals, Arbonne or Origins. those are no longer so harsh on your lashes and you will likely no longer have as many lashes fall out. As for eye makeup remover, i take advantage of the two Arbonne's makeup remover or candy Almond Oil (you may %. it up at your community well being nutrients keep, comprehensive meals or Wild Oats). Supposedly this is what Jackie O used to get rid of her makeup at nighttime. yet another tip is to maintain all organic, alcohol loose infant wipes reachable. those could be large to apply in a pinch or whilst vacationing. they're additionally large for paying for makeup off your clothing! once you employ eye makeup remover, use a cotton pad and don't rub your eyes - this could worsen your eyes and may additionally reason lashes to fall out. Be mushy! good success!! :) p.s. i'm no longer affiliated with any particular makeup or skincare line as we talk.

I would definately recommend the Clinique eye make up remover in the purple bottle. It's called, Take the Day Off Makeup Remover...ohhhhh it's great!!! You have to shake the bottle up really good though before you put it on the cotton ball, because then it'll get greasy....but if you shake it up its not greasy at all! All Cliniques products are oil free so no icky bacteria! Try it!

Neutrogena. It is similar to the Clinique product that has the tiny bit of oil in it. It removes my makeup (and I wear waterproof mascara) with one swipe of a cotton pad. The bottle is about $7 Canadian here, and lasts me a little over a month. Baby oil I found was way too oily, and even after you wipe it off, it lingers on your lids and causes your makeup to roll off throughout the day. NEUTROGENA!

I love Shu Uemura cleansing oil.
It even gets waterproof mascara off, but doesn't leave a greasy residue. Plus, you don't have to use a separate cleanser to wash the rest of your face.

No to baby oils - (mineral oil/distilled petroleum is an awful cheap product for you and your skin and never for eyes).

Bobbi Brown makes a wonderful remover and I like Arbonne but if it was one against the other Bobbi's wins.

I just use cooking oil, yeah I know it sounds strange but it dissolves the eye makeup quickly. Just put a bit on a tissue and wipe, very economical too and no chemicals.
