I wish I would have become an attorney. The tables will be turned soon I'm sure. Americans need to start demanding their civil liberties. Good question.

Sounds good to me. Start with tax evaders. The government has the ability and the WILL to go after them! They can calculate very penny.

Yet they don't know where all these illegals are, or where they work. BS! They get information at least for the many, many who are using phony social security numbers. But they whine that "they can't do anything." Just ENFORCE THE LAW against employers, end welfare-type benefits for illegals, and reverse the ridiculous court rulings giving the children citizenship and education rights. What part of ILLEGAL does our government not understand?

Even if not one more illegal entered the country for the next 25 years, enough damage has been done - to our treasury, public health, crime rate, culture, respect for law and standard of living. Economic interests WANT to break the backs of working people and destroy the idea of national identity, for economic reasons. And they have the socialists and race-hustlers on their side.

We're screwed. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm right.

I agree 100%, er for the most part. Violent offenders need to stay in prision.

I think along the same lines as you though. How fair is it that I, a US citizen, get arrested for a Misdameanor or even some Felonies.

To me, we should treat ILLEGAL, key word, Immagrants how Illegal US Imagrants would be treated in that country.

Only seems fair doesn't it?

Personally, I would like to know why and how 12 million illegals are currently living in this country..... does no one in the government agency's do their jobs other than our poor men and women who are fighting for the freedoms the government keep taking away on a daily basis?

Because picking fruit or doing construction to survive are not as bad as robbing, stealing, rape, assault, battery, and murder.
Some law breakers should be given amnesty. For a system that often goes after petty problems and doesn't bother major criminals, it is time for priorities.

I think you have misunderstood the word amnesty when it comes to immigrants....when it comes to immagration it means forgiving them for illegally passing through US, that's it
it doesn't mean that if some one who murdered his wife should/will get amnesty because 1) its in totally different context and 2) his crime is far worse that the immargents

Good Point.
I'm sure there will be many court challenges that will use the amnesty bill as precedent.

Good point, clear the prisons of all the drug users that have been slammed. ~
That would open the prisons for the hardened criminals.
