Well, growth depends on a number of factors ranging from the inheritence u received from ur genetic makeup to even the stuff u eat. Also, there are some reports that growth will be suppressed due to lifting of heavy weights or doing some certain exercises in gym etc... So u c, answering ur question on how to gain height is real tough. Just believe that yr best the way u r. After all u r an individual and a separate entity. Be happy ;)

Sorry to say this, but you alone can't do anything to gain height. Eating or more working out more or just ... stretching wont work. It's the length of your bones and you can't change that. Ask for a doctors appointment to see if a hormone treatment is needed if your bones are younger than your age and it would help you grow if that is the case. You may just be a late blossomer and grow rapidly between the ages of 18 and 22. Either way, please try to be happy with yourself, that will make the situation easier to understand and deal with at the end of the day! Take care!

In the 19th century, midget was a medical term referring to an extremely short but normally-proportioned person and was used in contrast to dwarf, which denoted disproportionate shortness. Modern terminology designates the two descriptions now by proportionate dwarfism vs. disproportionate dwarfism (such as achondroplasia). Proportionate dwarfism is often the result of a hormonal deficiency (such as human growth hormone), and it may be treated medically.
The word dwarf has generally replaced midget even for proportionally short people, though the term little person is preferred. According to the Little People of America, dwarfism is "a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" (147 cm) [1] or shorter, among both men and women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that."
You might want to talk to a doctor. Sounds like certain dwarfism can be treated medically.

There is nothing you can do to grow taller. It's genetic. You will end up as tall as you are supposed to be. Just wait. I was short all through high school, now I am 6'-2".

Men grow for a much longer time than women, sometimes until age 21. However, you're probably destined to be short in stature. You are who you are, now go and live your life and make a difference in this world.
