Wine tasting in California. There are great wineries all over the state...many allow you to sample their wines for free. The different wine regions are located in scenic areas with lots of other fun things to do besides wine tasting (i.e. rent an ATV and ride the Pismo Dunes, sail over Napa or Temecula in a hot air balloon, go horseback riding on the beach in Sonoma County, explore a cave in the Sierra, relax on a sunny beach in San Diego or Santa Cruz).

Hello, I notice now that we are not living on the same Continent, but I would think that everyone likes the sun (not too much of it though). Spending your summer could mean visiting relatives, enjoying the lakes ( we have a thousands of them here), swimming or fishing would we quite nice. I guess the main thing is to relax, wherever you live. Have a nice summer, wherever you live and I really mean it.

I'm going back home to the States for the month of July. Can't wait! It sure beats fighting all of the rain and wind here in the UK.
