Doctors back plan to store medical info under your skin

Tue Jun 26, 9:38 AM ET

CHICAGO (AFP) - Doctors could soon be storing essential medical information under the skin of their patients, the American Medical Association says. Devices the size of a grain of rice that are implanted with a needle could give emergency room doctors quick access to the records of chronically ill patients, the nation's largest doctors group said in a report.

Yes, this is simply an RFID. It can store medical information and they say that they will be able to replace ID's with these.

It is a transmitter that produces Radio Frequency (RF) waves and it can store information.

In the future it is thought that these could be used like a debit or credit card.

The problem with this advent is the misuse of power.
The government will implant tracking into these and hackers will get your personal info and can use it against you.

Well since I have important medical history that a doctor needs before treating me I usually carry around a typed up report of past illnesses, present problems, allergies, medicationns etc. So if I was brought into an ER unable to speak, I would welcome this implant.

I'm not ready, but evidently, this is going to happen. Our freedoms are slowly being eroded to the point where 1984 is going to look like a kitten compared to a fully grown lion.
