We very often use candles even when there is no power outage!
It is romantic and relaxing our mind.
Now, in case of power outage, we light candles , thinking how much better it would be if the air condition was on.....
Athens, 43C right now. Power outage for 2 hours, 3 hours ago.........

Stumble around in the dark until we find some candles and something to light them with. Then we sit around and curse whatever caused the outage until the power comes back on and he can get back to playing video games, my daughter can get back to watching SpongeBob, and I can get back to reading.

Sit in the dark, talk, and wonder how long before the TV and the computer work again. With kids in the house, there's not much sexual fooling around going on.
