I tried you need to start in the seeds indoors to get a head start, this plant would be fun to try to grow, and turned out to be a pain to grow, it was easier to go but a loofahh at the store. Oh after the loofa is done growing then you need to dry it so there gos another few months, like I said it was fun but a pain.

Probably not. Long season plant...........100 days at least. Peeling them is a pickle, then you have to shake out the seeds and clean the "sponge" in a bleach solution. To get a nice straight fruit grow on supports so the fruit hangs down.

you can buy the seeds at your gardening stores. ask what season you have to plant it. the name is loofah gourd. its not really difficult to grow. just make a vine where it can creep and don't let some weeds near it so it can grow easily
