I think that Paris Hilton's parent's did a fine job raising her, given their state of mind while at that time. If you have ever seen or heard Kathy Hilton speak, she is just exactly like Paris. I do think that it is amazing that Kathy and Rick Hilton are still married, meaning that they did have a stable family gr owing up, which is what matters most. But once again, she grew up knowing that she has an unlimited amount of money, which isn't the best idea as a parent, and I would take a different path, but its not the worst idea either. I think they did an alright job, not best, but definitely not worst.

She is spoiled, but that would have been really hard to avoid given the wealth of her family. After all, when you've spent your life with an open-limit credit card in your purse, you cannot possibly understand the real world.
On the other hand, a 28-year-old woman should have a smidge more maturity than she displays on a daily basis. The college antics were cute when she was 18 - not cute any more, Paris! It's clear that this is a person who was raised without limits of any kind. We've all seen children of friends with the same problem. But the difference is, there was no one else who was willing to slap her down at any point, either in fear of or deference to her family.
The only authority figure who's ever done Paris any favors is the judge who put her in jail. Hope it helps.

They're probably good decent people......but they don't have a clue about setting limits and being responsible for your actions.
There's a lot of parents out there who don't have a clue.
