have you had a bone density check done yet?

I was on depo and my doctor said after five years I should have a bone density check done as it screws with my bone health.

Not having a period is normal, but there is still a chance you CAN get pregnant on depo. I know a woman who has, even after taking it as directed.

Depo Provera is NOT simply intended to give up intervals. There has been reports that experience proven that it prevents pregnancies. The probabilities of having pregnant are .three%. Pregnancy is infrequent, and if it happens, is ectopic. Don't freak out if some of these individuals say that they realize peers that acquired pregnant whilst on it. Although infrequent, it could actually arise, however you additionally need to recollect you're asking individuals on the web. Did you get injected, used a backup system for a minimum of every week? Did you get your shot 5 days after your interval started? Have you had morning ailment but? Are you a consistent Depo Provera person? You have, like others have stated, defined virtually all signs individuals traditionally revel in whilst at the shot. The first-rate notion for me to deliver you is to get a being pregnant experiment. This will also be performed both from dwelling, with a general practitioner, or at a nearby Planned Parenthood. Hope this is helping.

well i'm not a doctor but from what i've read 5 years without a period is not ok. i've read a lot of stories about women waiting months and even a year or so to get their peiod back. i say come off the depo shot and use other birth control if you want it.
i say if the doctors don't listen to what you're telling them then it's time to take things into your own hands and do what you think is the solution--in my opinion come off the depo and give it another 6 months if you can wait that long. if you still don't have a period after that then keep trying doctors until you find one who'll take u seriously.

If you're seriously concerned than take a test. I imagine that you're fine, being that you've been on depo for so long. With Depo there is no ovulation, thus no egg, and no pregnancy. A side effect of Depo is dryness. It could be you're only experiencing this side effect as of recently.

No period in 5 years sounds unusual, even for pregnancy. A pregnancy lasts scarcely a year from conception to birth. schedule an appointment with your gynaecologist today.

Unless you were late getting the injection, you probably aren't pregnant, but 5 years is a long time. Maybe you should give your body a break & used condoms.

You're not pregnant.

If you're on Depo: no ovulation, no period, no baby!

Simple. You should know that already.
