dont panic, it is best to see your doctor who will book an appointment for an emergency scan, some women bleed all through pregnancy,i bled at 4, 8 and 12 weeks (unexplained)it wsnt very heavy but it was bright red. my doctor told me a worse sign of bad things to come is not blood it is sharp cramping pains around your pelvis. blood can be cause of miscariage which i am sure u already know about but it can just be your body adapting to your baby and your uterus expanding for it as it begins to grow more rapidly.only your doctor will have the answer u seek, so best of luck an i hope its good news x x

I bled at 13 weeks due to a subchorionic hematoma. This is a bleed caused by a separation of the placenta from the uterus. Ihad two big bleeds but then the SCH went away and I delivered a healthy baby girl.

many things,
if its bright red blood then its not a good sign,
if you had ruff intercourse and its minimal spotting it could be from that
if its old looking blood then it could be either a low progesterone level , or something like that.
I had bleeding and it lasted for 4 months even after they gave me the hormones.
but it was old brownish blood , they could really tell why
But as long as your hcg levels increase then your baby should be OK
Here is a Prayer for Expectant Mothers.
My Lord! My Lord! I praise Thee and I thank Thee for that whereby Thou hast favored Thine humble maidservant, Thy slave beseeching and supplicating Thee, because Thou hast verily guided her unto Thine obvious Kingdom and caused her to hear Thine exalted Call in the contingent world and to behold Thy Signs which prove the appearance of Thy victorious reign over all things.
O my Lord, I dedicate that which is in my womb unto Thee. Then cause it to be a praiseworthy child in Thy kingdom and a fortunate one by Thy favor and Thy generosity; to develop and to grow up under the charge of Thine education. Verily, Thou art the Gracious! Verily, Thou art the Lord of Great Favor! -Abdul-Baha

Spotting is normal. Bleeding is not.
Generally its a sign of miscarriage if you have never bled during your pregnancy up to this point.
