grange hill-my kids
elder granddaughters -house of elliott

When I was a child,my mum's favourite programme was the Wrestling on a Saturday afternoon-
it transformed her from a mild mannered, quietly spoken, kindly mum into a screaming banshee with a hot iron in her hand!!

i was born in the early part of 1973, and my very first recollection of a children's program was during the mid 70'c maybe 76 and up, twas Sesame Street. Plus the fact that it was the only available children's program in the TV network during those times. By the 1980's we had a wider selection of both local and international children's television shows, so I watched them all, though I was already drawn to the super hero cartoons by that time.

Twizzle
the very first Gerry Anderson puppet show
it centred around the actions of a boy with extending limbs and neck
seemed every episode was the rescue of a ball/kite/ toy plane or cat from up a tree
they don't make em like that anymore
