Matching accessories for a beige dress...?

Question

Hi, im going to a school formal and have a beige and black dress which is actually more nice than it sounds...I am good at finding things to match my clothes but Im lost as to jewellery and shoes.

Do I go for gold or silver accessories?
What colour shoes would look best?

Any help is welcome and much appreciated...x

You have many options here as the colours in the dress are neutral. Any colour will go with it. I would look for a pewter type of jewelry with black stones. That would look very sophisticated.
But a colour would be attractive as well or match the beige and try for an interesting texture. Take the dress with you in a bag and go to a jewelry boutique and try out a few different pieces on it. Find something that seems to go with it and then you can worry about the shoes. When you have chosen the jewelry, the shoe question will be answered easily.

I'd go for gold jewellery with beige. I wouldn't wear gold regularly but i think that it def complements beige. Also black shoes would probs go best. They would pick up the black in ur dress & they are in abundance in every shoe store so you won't find it too hard to pick up a nice pair :)

Actually, I would go for either black beads or maybe some kind of black stone around your neck. If you need a setting, either metal would work. Matching earrings would be great. And black shoes, of course. Actually, this works out great, because, unlike a lot of formal accessories, these are things you can definitely wear again.

id go for silver or gold jewellry with black stones or plain cubic zirconias, warren james has silver necklace and earrings set with black stones, and then either a black bag and shoes or a gold bag and shoes
