The number of bones that a human can have does indeed vary from individual to individual, but it has nothing to do with gender. The basis skeletal structure between a male and a female is the same. How many bones you have is instead determined by things such as age, health, and other congenital factors.

Men and women have the same number of bones on the average. While an individual can have an extra rib or miss a rib, it happens randomly. Actually, the most common variation in bone number comes in vertebrae numbers but again it is not a sex-linked trait. And this variation is not specific to the human species.

And no where in the bible does it say that men have one less rib than women. In one of the creation stories, it is described that God created Eve from one of Adam's ribs but not that that trait was passed on to their descendents. That myth is extra-bibical.

You clearly have not been close enough to count the ribs of a female. They have the same number of ribs. Here's a hint, for anatomy lessons, look at a science book.

The number of bones is the same. The variations are in structure, not number. Eg pelvis, size etc.

OK the bible has brainwashed you all. Males and females have the same number of bones, and the same number of ribs!!!!! That Adam and eve business, whether you believe or not, does not apply to modern human anatomy. The main differences in a male vs. female skeleton are:
1) female pelvis wider for childbirth
2)facial bones more feminine
