Go outside to do this !!!!!!!
Tie a string to the pen at the opposite end from the point of it.
Spin it over head (like a lasso) Start off with about a 15 second spin (do it longer if you have to).
Centrifcal force should cause the liquid inside to re - wet the point with a fresh supply of ink .

By the way, although the possibility of purchasing a new marker in the middle of the night, when Sharpies usually run dry at the time when most needed to label CD's, is zero, so emergency measures are sometimes of great value. Otherwise, Office Depot has single Sharpies for $ 0.25, as I learned today. I was feeling so wealthy that I bought two. I don't know yet if they work, or for how long.

Hi you can probably just dip the end of the marker into a small pool of water for a few seconds or so & get it working again.
Chances are the tip dried out and there is still ink in there.

you could try putting some water on it! but it may only hold up for a while!
i'm sure just the tip is dried so try cutting the sharp point off!
If this don't work you 'll have to break down and get a new one
