I love to read aloud to my kids. I have read the whole Harry Potter series, Spiderwick, series of unfortunate events, Bridge to Teribethia, Wizard of Oz, Holes, Charlid and the Chocolate Factory (actually all Dahl's books) Charlotte's Web, Fourth Grade rats,

Any other suggestions?????

what about the book called the war . I am not sure who it is by but it teaches kids about compassion for other ppl . it had an especially moving chapter about someone of another race being picked on by a teacher . I am sure you can find the book it is called The War. good luck .

"The Shinning" by S.King and "Deliverance". They will love it.
